Biology is the study of living things and living things are made of living units. From the smallest bacterium to the largest animals, it all begins with the humble cell. As we work through the HSC Biology course, you will understand how cooperative units interact to make living things function and ace your Year 12 assessments!
"Cause and effect" is the mantra for most of science, and this is equally true for biology. Our tutors will ensure you have a deep understanding of the significance of the structure and form of living things, and then how these structures contribute to the function. This will help you build confidence in predicting phenomena in HSC Biology.
The same basic living processes that are revisited time and time again are true for almost all living things. After our Biology course, you will come to recognise that most (if not all) living things are not so different after all and that the biological concepts you learn can be seen everywhere you go, even in your own body.

One of the most talented and intelligent tutors in the academy, Lewis has a passion for making contents more fun and intuitive not just for adults, but also younger adults! Lewis has blessed hundreds over his past 8 years of teaching. He graduated with an ATAR of 98.95, B. Medical Science from UNSW and is about to complete his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from USyd. Despite his busy schedule, Lewis continues to teach Chemistry and Biology at all levels, including GAMSAT!
